As an out of state owner of rental real estate in Groton I stumbled on Eastern Connecticut Flooring quite by accident in June of 2016 while seeking prices on new flooring for my property. After a short conversation with Becky, the owner, I not only had purchased the needed flooring, but also in addition had a deal in place to refinish all the hardwood floors in the property. I found the communication, selection of available materials, and ability to quickly schedule the requested work way above what I had expected. The work was done as promised, at the quoted price, and the quality was superb. In the interest of full disclosure - no, I am not an employee of this fine firm, but only a very satisfied customer.
I have since arranged and had more flooring installed this November with the same great results. Since I live in Vermont, and am somewhat hearing impaired, I was particularly impressed with how easy it was to take care of this exclusively via email. After my experiences, I would not even consider dealing with another firm in Groton, CT for my flooring needs and recommend them without reservation. a) 2014 - carpeting 2 bedrooms and a hallway
b) 2015 - carpeting and hardwood flooring throughout a condo
c) 2016 - a piece of carpeting, glued down to the cement floor in our basement.
I enjoy doing business with ECF because Becky is a no-nonsense contractor, which I love. She is personable, easy to work with and gets the job done in timely fashion. She knows her business and product line down to the very last detail and doesn’t try to over-sell any product.
She is very helpful in selecting a product that best fits your needs and outlines pros & cons. UCF also employs some extremely competent installers; they have all been personable and got each job done quickly. I recommend other people do business with ECF because they are reasonable cost, timely installation (when she says they'll be there, they are there) and personable/competent installers.
